February 2020 Update

Hello Everyone,
You may have wondered why there is no January
News.
Sadly we had the devastating news last week that
Keith's Mesothelioma which was pleural i.e.lung has now progressed
to peritoneal i.e.stomach.
Unfortunately no more can be done in the
circumstances other than pain relief and the prognosis is
weeks.
Words cannot express how I feel given that Keith
is my whole love of my life and I am sure you understand
this.
He said the best thing we did was to get married
last July. On 3 January this year we have been together for 39
years.
He is now home with me at the Lodge and can see
the beautiful garden he has created especially as it is now
Hellebores season and in fact he came to the Lodge in March
1976.
The District nurse now calls daily to administer
pain relief drugs to him.
We would like to thank you all for continuing to
check his website news and catch up on the garden despite it not
being open over the last 4 years and for all the support and
kindness received and are so grateful to have had such lovely
friends, family and acquaintances.
There will be just one final update in the
future.
